NSA is a professional organization that serves experts who speak professionally. Through their annual convention, workshops and technical labs, NSA promotes excellence it the field of professional speaking.

Jerry serves on NSA’s Profession Development Council. He has presented at the Cavett Institute for Professional Speaking and is the recipient for the 2005 Presidents Award for Distinguished Service

Foster Care Alumni of America

The mission of Foster Care Alumni of America is to connect the alumni community and to transform policy and practice, ensuring opportunity for people in and from foster care. Jerry chairs FCCA’s Technology Advisory Team.

Safe Children’s Coalition

Part of the Florida mandated Community Based Care (CBC) project for Pasco and Pinellas counties, the Safe Children Coalition of Pinellas is a collaboration between the Sarasota Family YMCA and many local community partners who together provide a continuum of child welfare services for dependent children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned.

National CASA

In the United States, over one half million children are in foster care because they cannot safely live with their families. CASA volunteers work to ensure that these children do not suffer further abuse due to the overburdened court system or at home.
